A Message from Our Founder
“The Story Behind JOMAR Foundation”
The name JOMAR is a beautiful combination of my parents’ names, Joseph and Mary. They were more than just my parents, they were my first teachers of kindness, compassion, and selfless service.
Growing up, I witnessed them give generously to those in need. They often sacrificed their own comfort to support the less privileged. My mother opened her heart and home to homeless individuals and orphans, welcoming them as family and treating them with dignity, love, and respect. Through their actions, they taught me that kindness costs nothing, yet it has the power to change lives.
Their example shaped the person I am today and inspired the vision behind JOMAR Foundation. This foundation was created to honor their legacy and continue the work they lived every day—bringing hope to the vulnerable, uplifting widows, empowering girls, and extending compassion to those who need it most.
One of the greatest joys in my life is seeing a smile on someone’s face because of an act of kindness. Knowing that a person feels seen, valued, and supported brings me immense happiness. Through JOMAR Foundation, I hope to create opportunities for others to experience that same hope, love, and encouragement.
JOMAR Foundation stands as a tribute to Joseph Eyongoben and Mary Eyongoben. A legacy of compassion in action and a commitment to restoring hope, empowering futures, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of people around the world.
“Restoring Hope, Empowering Futures.”
With gratitude,
